The criteria is based on my subjective opinion, my initial impression as well as my over-all impression relative to all the other wines that I sampled in 2010.

Best Value under $20: Layer Cake 2008 Malbec, Mendoza Argentina. Loosen Brother’s Dr. L. 2009 Riesling Mosel, Germany. Catena Vineyards, 2008 Chardonnay, Mendoza Argentina.
